Classroom Connections

Classroom Connections is a not-for-profit organization, dedicated to instigating positive societal change by providing free classroom-ready resources that have been welcomed by thousands of teachers all across Canada.

Founded in 1997 by its Executive Director, Ms. Heather MacTaggart, Classroom Connections supports over 80% of all Canadian publicly funded schools.

Classroom Connections works with some of the best educators in the country to determine how it might best fill specific gaps in available resources, and to develop educational programs to fill them.

Current resources cover a wide range of topics that include: diversity, environmental responsibility, family, immigration, literacy, and peace.

For its excellent achievements, Classroom Connections has won acclaim from media, colleges, school boards, teachers, parents and the children themselves.
